My windows have yet to experience spontaneous combustion, but with 3 boys under 11 I am definitely not ruling out the possibility.
I will proceed cautiously and consider it a warning! (And I will hide the rebar)
Should I have to deal with this horrible problem particular to Colorado, I will probably call my local glass shop and have them come out and assess replacement costs, just as was advised in the link posted by Mike.
Do you think spontaneous combustion of windows only happens in the presence of rebar? It is worth considering!
