As others have mentioned, just go to the webslite of the state that interests you, and you'll easily find campgrounds. In MO, you can pick a park, see a campground map. When you pick a site, it will give you the size of the site and even a photograph. Very convenient. National Park sites will give you a campground map, showing shower areas, etc., but no photgraphs of the site itself. Corps of Engineer sites are very nice, also. A Golden Age pass works for these and National Forests CGs. Just enjoy. This will be our 48th camping year. Here we come, Pulltite CG, Ozark National Scenic Riverways! Olga and Ken
