Bill mentioned Lee's Ferry. We stayed there in 2010 but bypassed it last year because of the heat at that time. It is a nice CG but no  shade and can get windy. Didn't bother the pup we had at the time so shouldn't be a problem for the TM. You are on a open mesa above the river pretty much.
