We put a 2 inch memory foam on top of our 2720 mattress, and it was very comfy, and we shut down with bedding on the bed......my husband is afraid that we were too tight, and that caused rubbing when we shut down. I put 3 inches of foam and a 3 inch tempurpedic foam topper on our bed in our 3124 (it came without a mattress), and I'm afraid I should have gotten 2 inches of foam.......we'll see. jury is out.....we are on our first trip with our 3124.

The step thing - we did that at least a couple of times. takes time to remember how to do this stuff. lol.
