As Irene says, remove anything having a water-based liquid, since the liquid will freeze. Canned goods (soup, etc) and bottles of water-based liquid (ketchup, etc) are good examples. You can probably leave oil-based things - cooking oil, peanut butter, as long as they are tightly sealed. Oil won't freeze, and it won't turn rancid over a winter.

Be sure to clean out the cabinets really well, to get rid of any crumbs, and then give the insides a quick wipe with bleach to remove any food smell.

Remove things like crackers and dry spaghetti in a plastic bag or cardboard container, since the smell will draw mice. A bar of soap will also draw mice, but in my experience, dish soap and hand sanitizer in closed plastic bottles are OK
