They are probably all attached to PEX piping with a crimped ring. That's the way it is on my 2004 3023. I cut the PEX above the ring with a razor blade, pulled off the valve, and slipped on a Shark Bite valve. Be careful to leave enough piping for something to connect to it. The Shark Bite valve is more expensive than one that requires a crimp ring, but avoids the need for a PEX crimper, which is even more expensive. Shark Bite wants a clean and smooth end to slip onto, so you might have to trim the pipe a bit after cutting.
