I'm following this thread, as I'm thinking of doing a similar trip next spring or summer.
4Rajas - Is the need to book that far in advance limited to the summer, or would that also be an issue in April/May as well? I'm sure the need is a gradual transition, but would it be dicey to travel in April/May without advance reservations?
