Don't be silly. It would be illegal for any sewer system, including the TM's, to vent back into the living spaces. In fact it vents out through a special vent fixture under the floor. In addition, the separate vent fan in the bathroom - just like the one in your home bathroom - is quite effective at drawing air out of the bathroom and pushing it outside.

I've look and there is no vent...I found a post by ShrimpBurrito 11/18/08 that has photos of the Thetford taken apart and still no vent present. Also one by DEarle 4/25/16. I did read about a kit for marine applications from Thetford and also saw a post that shows how someone built a vent that went thru the lower shell wall, but not one on the bottom.
