I'm looking to install above. Not too many recent posts on the subject that I could find. I would like it to be as simple as possible and portable so I can switch between TV's. I'm considering this kit

Can I just use a cig adapter to power on the Monitor? I didn't see any that have that connected? I don't have much experience in this sort of thing.
Since the receiver is on the monitor line is that all I need? Just plug and play the monitor?
I'm thinking of wiring the camera to a tail light so its on anytime the running lights are on. This kit has a extension so the transmitter could be at least a bit higher for better reception. I'm thinking of putting the camera on the small shelf that the license plate light provides. Thoughts? ideas??
