Bill, I opened up my TM this afternoon to get it ready for a trip to Texas and I can tell you a couple of things. One, rvcycleguy is right, if you have the front of the TM a bit downhill it's easier to open front shell. And, two, where it's the most difficult for me is after it's open about a couple of feet and I'm standing up straight and have to keep lifting.
