73 in June. Married 52 years. Our first rv was an Apache (1973 Ranger). We had to sell it because we pulled it with a 79 Chev. station wagon (remember those?). It was a company car and was being traded for a K-Car $%@#$%@.

Our next was a smaller Apache which we bought after storm damage. We refurbed for a trip to Oregon for a family reunion, then sold it.

In 1987 we acquired an old Ford rv. in a trade for a postage machine. I'd turned it down for the sale price due to its condition. (Before and after - interior and exterior pics below)

We rebuilt it from the ground up and covered some fun miles with it before loosing it in a storage building fire in 1995. We went without an rv until we bought another Apache (1981 Royal) in 2012. After making several trips to Virginia, New York, and Nevada, we ran across our 2009 2720SL.

I was surprised to discover so few in our age group 71-75. We are fortunate to have our health and ability to enjoy our TM for a few more years. It will likely be our last.

In the three years we've had it we've made several trips, short and long and are planning for another this summer. We're going back to Virginia and the music festivals along 'The Crooked Road'. Google it.
