It is also possible to open up the top outside refrigerator vent, remove the Masonite and insulation from the top of the refrigerator, and reach back to the radio rear to unplug the radio. But if it happens that you can remove it far enough from the front that the plug is accessible, it's a lot easier from there. Some radio installations have fuse holders at the back.
