Oh, Lord, that would be like using a hedge trimmer to peel a grape. Instead, write down the manufacturer (brand name) and model name of your radio, and take them to anyplace that services or installs car radios. I'm thinking Best Buy, but any hi fi or audio shop will work. They will sell you a pair of DIN tools for $5-10. In each case, you will get a set of two identical tools.
There are two common types of DIN tools. One looks like a 6-inch length of steel wire, bent into a nicely-rounded U-shape, the ends sharpened and shaped a bit. The other looks like a strip of sheet metal, maybe 1/4 inch wide, 2 inches long, again with one end sharpened and shaped a bit. On this one, the opposite (non-sharpened) end may be flat, or bent over, or may have a ring to help you grip it. Doesn't matter.
For pictures, go to Walmart.com, type "DIN tool" into the search box, and ignore everything after the first couple entries.
You can tell which one you need by looking at the edges of the front panel of your radio. If you find two round holes on each end, you need the first type of tool. If there is a single vertical rectangular slot on each end, you need the second type.
In each case, you insert the ends of the tools into the holes/slots in the radio. The tools release the latches, and at the same time grip the sides of the radio. When you pull the tools out, the radio comes with it.
