Have your every been to ACOE park in Minden La Beaver Dam park??
None of the sites at Deerlick are on the water, you are high above it. Some have better views then others. All have partial shade. Forget the site numbers but don't get the ones at the end of the cul-de-sac. They are about impossible to get into if one is occupied. Also a long way up hill to the bathrooms.

I thought Beaver Dam was USFS, didn't know there was a COE there. Have hiked the trails some there but never camped.
