Nice write up on the NP campground. Not aware of the red tape? Gotta passport, you're set to cross and return without issue. Hopefully the weather will break for you this weekend. Beautiful country out there. We hiked the Window Trail in the Chisos Basin last month and canoed the river. The road out to Cottonwood which is Ross Maxwell Scenic drive out to Santa Elena Canyon is noted as one of the best in the nation. Nice hike out to Mule Ears. Enjoy. One of my favorite places to getaway from it all.
