Thumbs up Recommended Campgrounds

I live in Centennial, Co. the 2 that are great camps are both Colorado State Parks
the best is Mueller State Park in Divide,Co. the views from your camp site are beautiful
we have been going there for 15 years its south of Colorado Springs
we have seen deer come up to our site we go there 3 weekends in summer
plus 9 days straight every July.

The other one to go to is Golden State Park in Golden, Co. its nice too but Mueller is the best
we make our reservations 6 months in advance that is what you are allow to do
these are the only 2 parks that still have green trees most place in Colo.
trees have been cut down or are all brown dead because of pine beetle that has
kill them the like lodge pole pine but they don't like Ponderosa Pine the altitude at both parks
is at 10,000 feet
