The main problem with units that old is that they have a lot of wood components for framing, which rot. Rebuilding them when this happens takes so much time you might wish you bought a newer one.

Even my 2004 with aluminum framing has required substantial attention. Bolts fall out and parts fall off, the awning has had some parts crack and fall off (fortunately not killing it yet), the hold-downs had to be rebuilt, the stove came loose from its cabinet, the kitchen faucet leaks and requires removal of a lot of other stuff so that you can reach it to replace it, etc.

There is also the regular maintenance, you have to clean out and pack the wheel bearings once in a while, service the brakes, trailer tires are perpetually at risk of blowing out, etc.
