If you have kids I strongly recommend going with a bed (non-slide) model. We have a 3326 King (front end is a slide sofa) and my son is going to quickly outgrow the fold down sofa. We went back and forth between a 3326 vs 3124KB. I liked the 3326 better personally but the sleeping situation gave me pause. The deciding factor was that I was able to roll several high interest credit cards into the loan for the 3326 (our monthly outlay for bills actually decreased). Otherwise I think we would've gone with a 1 year old 3124KB for the same overall payment.

Also from what you're describing I'm not so sure a 3124 is really practical to store on your property. Maybe try and hold out for a 2619? It's only a foot shorter but has the king size bed in the back...
