if you are going 71 to 271 to 90 traffic will be minimal you are going around the city,,,,not sure of your dates but the republican national convention is here july 18 thru 22nd avoid the actual city downtown 20 mile radius those dates.

I was at willow lake in geneva this weekend it was a nice campground as is the state park
