I always felt that "Gross Combined" was what the TVs systems including brakes was rated for. Since the TM has its own axle and brakes YMMV.

BTW my experience with any "customer service" is that they are script kiddies hired for minimum wage. To get a real answer you need to get a tier or two higher (but those people avoid talking to the "general public".
