Tornado?
Today we had some winds that came though our area and totally destroyed my neighbor's barn. Unfortunately, our Trailmanor was set up in our driveway getting ready for a trip and was moved about 6 feet and thrown over on it's side! Incredibly, it does not appear to be damaged. Now I just need to figure out how to get it back upright -- all 3300 lbs of it!
Anyone have any ideas? It seems there are YouTube instructional videos for just about everything, but somehow they missed this one!
So I am thinking about jacking up the frame enough to put jacks under it so the wheels will not be side loaded and then pulling it upright with cables hooked to my tractor. To cushion the fall back over, I am thinking of inflating 20 doubled contractor trash bags full of air to form air bag cushions that will pop but cushion the fall back onto its wheels?
If anyone has a better idea, I'm all ears! Should I take the top two sections off first to lighten the load when it falls back on its wheels? I assume, I could lift those back on top with enough people and hands?
Seriously, this was not my favorite day of the year.
Keith the unfortunate.
