Thanks

We began our trip with a few days in Mountain View at the Spring Bluegrass Festival before moving on to Bristol and the combined jam and show at Heartwood. While there we refreshed our friendship with folks we met here two years ago while making our first run up The Crooked Road and visited the Birth of Country Music Museum in Bristol.

We've been in Wytheville a few days and went to a jam on Thursday night, ending the evening at McDonald's where we reminisced with 'Junior' (a really good mandolin player and singer). We met him at a jam on our earlier trip.

Mike and the other players invited us to another jam Tuesday evening.

Yesterday was the jamboree at The Floyd Country Store.

Tomorrow we'll attend a gospel sing at church and head for a Chinese buffet. If we're able to walk after stuffing ourselves, we'll head back to The Store for another jam.

I hope to see the Shot Tower while in the area and I may run over to Mt. Airy for a hair cut at Floyd's Barbershop. How cool would that be?

We're havin' a ball, doing what the TM was built for.
Roll on!
