Similar, have approaching 500 albums on microSD cards in my phone which also serves for engine diagnostics, GPS, web browsing, messaging, and, well, a phone.
Tunes vary from Bach to AC/DC with emphasis on 1945 to 1990. Just depends on my mood.
My concept is that all of this should go with me and not a particular vehicle/place. Modern technology makes this possible.
Have hands free plus audio capability in all of my cars and the TM (changed to a BT radio).
Personally think satellite services sound like old AM radio and I prefer FM/digital (always rip CDs at the maximum . Have passed 32GB and heading for 64.
Do find some new/old stuff to be pretty good particularly some soundtracks. But often hear the original in my head and the new versions are usually not as rich.
So perhaps in the future when we have unlimited bandwidth and everything is in the cloud things will be different but for now these are the good old days.
