This is sounding promising. From a few searches, I see that the TM converters fail quite frequently. This sounds like something I'd have to replace right away if I want any of the electricals to work.
Is it safe to assume that the brake lights and brake system are separate from the converter? He did say there had been a leak through the air conditioner seal, but has since sealed it up.
The biggest concern I have right now is the ability to store it on my driveway. The tongue would sit about 5 feet over the city property line, but the property line crosses my driveway. It would fit completely on my driveway, however.
