Wire them out of phase and there will be NO bass, plus the voices will sound like 2 distinct voices, one from each speaker, instead of a nice central image.
I had Car Toys install better speakers in my wifes CRV and noticed it right away, they STILL wanted to argue about it so I brought in a test CD that clearly showed the issue, they were shocked anyone would notice. LOL
There's NO BASS ! How could you not notice. Even the DW noticed. She just wouldn't know what the problem was.
Not something I'm proud of, but I'm one of those high end 2 channel audio nuts.
