When we first got our TM I was concerned about that gap. I also worried about bugs coming up in the bathroom. So I made a ton of draft dodgers to go everywhere to cover the cracks for when the TM is set up. We also camp in cold climates and I thought they would be handy for that.

On the same style of a draft dodger but much bigger around I made a thing to go in that crack. We seldom use them. We generally do not have bugs like gnats come in throught the cracks where there is no vinyl flap. Only one time did we had some tiny green bugs come in the bathroom so then I made the draft dodgers.

Basically we realized we had left the light on all evening so we just learned not to just leave that light on all the time at night and the problem was solved. We just turn the light on when needed. We never saw those tiny green bugs again any where we have since camped.

We also found you can't see into the bathroom through that opening and no longer use the thing I made for it. We tried...and you can't see in into the bathroom from that bed area. You also can't see someones reflection in the mirror from there.

We do still use the regular size draft dodgers in extremely cold weather and are not really sure that they help that much since the heaters do such a good job.
