If what I saw behind the converter was actually the tub vent (and I am nearly certain it was), then no, it does not vent directly to the outside. However, it does vent to the area under the tub, where there is also a screen opening to the underside of the trailer. This screen opening, maybe 3-4" in diameter, is where the bathroom fan vents to, although there is no duct or hose directing the air to that opening. The fan simply vents to the area under the tub, just like the tub vent, where theoretically the air eventually finds its way out through the screen opening.
