Part 2 of our Peaceful Valley Campout . . .

The map showed a water faucet very near our campsite so we saw no reason to haul water up into the Rockies. Please see the attached pictures and note that this is the only option and that it is a HAND PUMP that you have to PUMP with NO hose attachment not to mention that you can't get a vehicle close to it! I don't know how many trips Gene made across the road with our dutch oven (he probably does ) and can't imagine what we would have done without that deck plate we installed in our holding tank. Just for the record, the campground hosts have sewer PERIOD! They put 5 gallon buckets in a wheelbarrow and fill them the same way to clean the bathrooms and their own trailer. I don't think we'll ever try to be hosts there.
