Thanks for moving this to the frame section. I couldn't find it when I first posted because I wasn't a member.
It seems that the old style jacks work just fine to stabilize my light 2518. I just had to learn how to work them. The manual wasn't very descriptive. But, thanks to B and D, they work fine now!
