Actually, I had to show the sales guy how to close the TM ! The tech who was with us knew generally how it worked. This is one of two units they have had on their lot during the last year. They did go through the unit before delivery to me, checking all systems, and appeared to have done a thorough job - just no in-depth familiarity with the TM system.
I got the sequence of closing/opening from lurking here the past year, and from viewing the TM videos. So I close the TM curb side first, but the bottom is still a pain.
Unfortunately, the nearest dealer is 200+ miles away, and he just started carrying TMs this year. I may have to make a special trip just to get the torsion system checked.
Not a big deal - the main worry is the gap between shells when it is closed after using up all the latch adjustment.
