When I installed my radio, I did nearly all of the work from the front side of the radio.

However, I wanted to use the rear speaker jacks on the radio to feed outdoor speakers. I could not decide on a good location to install jacks that could later accept an extension wire to the speakers. I decided I would just leave the speaker wires dangling behind the fridge access panels on the street side. So I opened the fridge access panels open and routed the wires from the radio along the existing wire harness. The back of the radio can be reached from the external access panel behind the fridge. You may have to move the fridge insulation up or down to see the radio.
