My 2417 Sport had the air blowing onto the legs of anyone sitting in the dinette (or into the open space when converted to bed). Not efficient, but the opening under the dinette is large enough to allow air out into the rest of the trailer. I made sure the vents pointed out the open end, and we had no problem keeping comfortable in the rear bed (front bed area stayed warm, also).

Our newer 2417 Classic has the vent openings on the outer end of the dinette bench, which keeps the heat from baking our legs, and also allows for more even heating of the entire trailer.

You may want to look to see if you can move the vents from the leg area, to the end of the dinette bench. I don't know what it looks like under your bench, but if you have room, I think it would be worth the effort to move the vents.

I have included a picture of my under-bench area, with the bottom of the photo being where feet are when sitting at the dinette. Top of pic is outside wall of TM.
