I'll second the bunk bed idea (for obvious reasons!)

I'll also second the membership mention, above. This is the only site I pay to be a member on, and I've gotten my value out innumerable times. I consider it essential to really owning and enjoying a TM!

Got to tell you, the bunk bed mod works exactly as planned, we've been using it for some time now without any issues. In point of fact, the kids enjoy the top more than the bottom, and I've started not-converting the couch when it's time to sleep. I pull out the seat just far enough to slip the back down (like a bolster) against the back wall, then one kid sleeps on the couch seat-cushions only, and the other is on the cot (on a therm-a-rest camp mattress up there, because the sling isn't comfortable "enough" for my daughter. Baby.) This way, they both get roughly equivalent sleeping experiences, and they swap each day, to make it fair.
