Default Lean-to

Just finished my project to build a 20'x15'x7' lean-to off the side of my horse barn to store the TM out of the weather.

Used the John Deere tractor to level the ground on the side of the barn. Installed railroad ties to prevent erosion by the existing barn foundation.

Dug 6 holes with the post hole digger. Installed treated 4x4s and filled holes with pea gravel. Installed 2x10 ledger board on the side of the barn; used (2) 2x6s for the top plate. Used 2x8s for rafters 16"o.c; slope 2" per foot. Installed roof purlins 2.5'-3' o.c.

Installed siding & trim and painted. Installed roof - used Tuftex Polycarbonate white panel.

Parked the TM inside for the winter....done!
