Default Keeping your awning open

This was more of a problem on our 3124, but thought I would post it anyway.

The locking nuts on the awning legs were getting older and did not hold the awning up in the proper position above the door. My DW got trapped in the trailer one day when winds dropped the awning to its lowest point while she was inside and I was away.

I took two small C clamps and locked them on each awning leg just below where the two sections meet. This prevented the awning from sliding down when it got windy. There are parts that probably could have been replaced, but this was a cheap and easy fix.

One advantage of using C clamps is that you don't have to screw the locking nuts down as tight, which will probably extend their useful life.
