My DW and I have Boxers and frequent a forum named "mustloverboxers". One of the features we enjoy the most is a real-time chat feature on the site. It would be nice if TMOP had this feature. It would help to develop a tighter community of owners. Allow us to get answers to questions in real-time, arrange TM get togethers, etc.

Just a thought.

John and Laurel,
Good idea. We have had it before, and discontinued due to lack of use. I'd be more than happy to bring it back though. Anyone else want a chat section again?
Thanks

I have never used a chat room, but sounds interesting.

Yes, Chris, I would like one if it wasn't too hard to incorporate into the website. There are several times it would have been extremely beneficial, and saved many pm's in trying to discuss something with another member.

I think that it is a great idea, especially when you are trying to get a quick answer.

Okay, I posted the thread so you know I think it's a good idea.............but, if there was one in the past then consideration should be given as to why it was removed.

I guess we need to make sure and use it enough this time, if Chris brings it back. :D

It was used for a while, then the excitement dies down, and it didn't get used for like 6 months, so I removed it. If you guys want it though, I'll hunt one down and put it on.

I miss the chat room. Does it cost extra to have one?

I use a free FlashChat on my forums it works pretty good. I also have it setup where it uses the same database as my forums which means only one sign in.

I am not all that familiar with VBulletin but I do know you can do the same with it just not sure how much trouble it is. so far from using VBulletin what little I have I find it to be hard harder to use & add features to which is very disappointing since it is paid software.
