Just got back from a three night stay at this large (3700 acres) state park in Chatsworth, GA. A very nice place to camp! We arrived on Sunday afternoon and pretty much had our pick of some 70 sites. When we left on Wednesday, there was only one other camper in the park (besides the Forest Host). Each site has water, electric, and cable TV - no sewer connection though. Bathrooms/Showers were well located and very clean.
It's still quite warm in north Georgia with high humidity. Plan to return in mid October when it will hopefully be a little cooler, and the leaves will be changing color. We've been to a few other Georgia state parks, but this is one of our favorites.
