hello everybody,

we realy need your help, we're purchasing a used 1998 3023 TM at our local TM dealer (RVcustomsales).14,500 is a asking price, but the saleman said he could low to 13,500 with a/c and that's it!!...this is a first trailer we ever bought...we spent over 4 mons to study all trailers and finally we stop at Traimanor design. the main reason is tow weight and interior layout..exterior is need a LT as well as interior (all that minorwill take care by DL before we pick up)...with all good experirenced you have , what's else should included in this price?...like sway bar, electric brake module, weight distributing thing or new set of tires....HELP!!!!!

The price is in the ball park of some used units I have seen, depending on the condition, try www.nadaguides.com  and see what you come up with, also run a search on www.rvtraderonline.com . It won't hurt to try and beat them up for the hitch and whatever else you want. ;D Also I would read the posts on tires, from others experience it looks like a good idea to not run tires over a couple of years old.

ask for new tires...suggest goodyear, that is what they are putting on the new models.

What is your tow vehicle? Probably won't need a sway bar, but maybe a WD hitch. Must have a brake controller too.

The least the dealer can do is include a brake controller and wiring.  If they want the sale they will do it.
