Heading from Corpus Christi to San Diego. My first long maiden voyage. I plan on heading out to San Diego on I-10/I-8 and return along I-40 Plan on leaving July 8th returning on the 24th. Anything I need to see or warnings of what to avoid would be appreciated. Of course I plan on a few smaller trips first to work the bugs out. I can't believe I have to go 3 more weeks without camping. I should have kept my pop-up until the new one arrived. Dave

What are you "into" SD has something for just about every interest. They have some great county parks, military museums, zoos, art museums, theaters, kids stuff, you name it. We live in the LA area and head down there every chance we get.

If you have not been to Europe you must visit the fine arts gallery in Balboa Park. My Mom said after her first visit "I just can't believe all of these old master's works are here in So. Calf." Of course the Zoo is a must. Dinner on Mission Bay.
