Where should I store the pull out table leaf?

I am sure this a dumb question, but I have no idea where the insert to the table should be stored when not in use.

 For now it has been sitting on the floor getting in the way.

It fits behind the table when you fold the table down for storage. Leave it there if  you are using the table but do not need the extension.

What Bruce said is correct.

The extra leaf goes behind the table itself.  

To install the leaf, raise the table, then insert the bottom of the leaf (top facing wall) with metal tabs touching the floor, behind the metal catches.  

The metal catches are for holding the table closed (when folded), but also keep the extra leaf against the wall.

It fits nicely in this space!   ;)

When you store the leaf against the wall, make sure the screws and clips on the leaf are facing out and not against the wall. If the screws and clips are against the wall, they will rub off the paint on the wall.

Thanks for the tips.  I knew there had to be a easy place to store it.
