Updating signature photo

Searched, but did not find an answer. How long does a profile photo take to update? I uploaded a new photo over 8 hours ago, but my old photo still shows. Does the new photo get reviewed before it is released and made "live"?

Should be almost immediate. Be sure you are updating the photo you think you are updating. There is the avatar, the profile photo, and the signature photo. Change the wrong one and you will wait a long time!
