We went to beautiful Pietown NM (pop about 70 and elevation 8,000 ft) last summer for the annual Pie Festival that draws several thousand pie lovers. My wife was able to purchase concord grapes from La Esperanza vinyards in the Mimbres valley http://www.laesperanzavineyardandwinery.com/ She made a concord grape pie from scratch in the TM for entry in the contest. While it did not win top prize, it was a beautiful pie and we shared with our neighbors at the campground.

Wow, how great is that. I love to cook and normally enjoy home cooked meals at home more than eating out. Never enough days to cook and bake all the food we can consume LOL.

We just purchased our trailmanor in May. Drove from Bay Area CA to Dallas area to pick it up and drove it back. On that trip, we ate out not really knowing anything about our trailer. Our second trip was several months ago to Lassen area and I did all the cooking for the two of us. But, I have not used the oven/microwave combo yet. Looking forward to trying it out.

We are heading out to Big sur for 3 days in 10 days and this time we will have a young couple also going with us. Again, I plan to cook and I may give it a go with baking this time too. Your picture has sure inspired me.
