The Texas RV Park at Big Spring is a very nice place to stop over. Clean restrooms, very friendly host. Great view of the wind generators. Not much in Big Spring to see or do but it is a good stop over if you are passing through.

TACO, Texas Association of Campground Owners , puts out a book, gives 10% discount also. Some of the places are dumps but lots are good.

The one in Ft. Stockton is not a place I would book, well maybe at Halloween. There is nothing really bad about it, other than the looks, all the dead trees, very bare, sets out all by it's self.

Of course if you're there to eat at Sarah's (Mexician food) it is worth the stay.

Be sure to check out Texas state parks. My favorites are in the southern gulf part of the state; Bentsen Rio Grande Valley, Goose Island, Choke Canyon, Lake Amistad (Del Rio). Two great spots on South Padre Island are; Destinations and Isla Blanca County Park (on the beach).
