POTTERS CREEK, Canyon Lake

Texas does have a lot several really nice campgrounds, but my favorite is Potters Creek in Canyon Lake. These campgrounds are located in the Texas Hill Country. The lake water is a clear blue/green, it is just beautiful. The trailer sites are very spacious, we never felt cramped. The bathrooms were well maintained, and the showers were roomy. There almost always a breeze, and it was very relaxing. I just love that place. Maybe someday we'll move to that area. :)

Two other great get away places near there are the RV Park at Fredricksburg, Best showers/restrooms I've seen, close to home style. For really out in the woods I like the little RV park at Whemberly, very poor bathroom but it is out in the middle of no where and very quite.
